Leuk the Duck

Today I am playing in the Shell Houston Open Pro-Am and getting ready for the first day of the tournament tomorrow. As many of you have heard, my good mate Jarrod Lyle, has undergone his first round of chemotherapy to fight a recurrence of leukemia. Jarrod is an amazing person who I had the privilege of first meeting when he was 17 and diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. I promised him that as soon as he felt better, we would go out and play a few rounds. Not only did he recover but he went on to earn his PGA Tour card. I am so proud of him and know that he will bounce back and join me on Tour again. In the meantime, my thoughts are with Jarrod and his family. My Leuk the Duck headcover stands in my bag for Jarrod and all of the other patients who have been touched by Leukemia and cancer.

Leuk the Duck Headcovers and pins can be purchased through the Challenge – Supporting Kids with Cancer web site.
