This year’s Tournament and Gala Dinner was a huge success. A very special thank you goes out to all of the participants, sponsors, donors, volunteers and guests who helped us raise a lot of money to help children in our area.
We are very lucky to have such wonderful sponsors who help make the event possible. The Gardens Mall, Brio Tuscan Grille Restaurant, Russell’s Blue Water Grill, Brown Distributing, Zonin Wines, Admirals Cove, The Bear’s Club, Taylormade Golf, Cobra/Puma Golf, Srixon Golf Balls, Shimano Fishing, and Maserati all contributed to the event and helped make the tournament a success.

Just getting home from Hawaii. Took the red eye last night…feels great to be back in my hometown!
Looking forward to lots of practice and preparation for next week’s tournament in San Diego, CA.- the Farmers Insurance Open. Stay tuned to my website for regular updates from the event including photos and scores.

Wednesday I play in the pro-am for the Sony Open open in Hawaii and tournament play begins Thursday. I’ve had some good success here in the past (3 top-10 finished including runner up in 2010) and I’m looking forward to kicking off 2012′s tournament season at this course. I get to see where my game is at and if there is an area of my game that isn’t sharp I have a week to work on it before Torrey Pines and the west coast swing.
I think last year was an average year for my standards, but in the last month since returning from Australia I have sat back and had a good look at myself and my game and I really feel I’m on track for a great year.
Right now I can honestly say I feel like I am in the best place I have ever been in life.
